In 1992, Trystar began as a welding cable supplier out of southern Minnesota. This model was maintained until 1998 when Trystar started manufacturing own welding cable in-house. From there, Trystar started manufacturing portable power cable as well. With 20 employees and a solid cable business, Trystar then expanded the business and started manufacturing portable power distribution boxes.
