Bill Campbell and Rich Ellis founded Powertech Associates after years of experience working for another manufacturers' rep in the valve industry. They saw a need in the market for a total solution provider in the utility marketplace — covering overhead and underground distribution, substations, metering, testing, tools, transmission, safety, services and the newest technologies.
Out of a desire to better serve Powertech customers with a source to buy local stock quickly and efficiently, Utility Power Supply Company was created. With a warehouse located in Farmington, CT, UPSC distributes product for several of the companies represented by Powertech — giving customers fast, local access to critical utility products.
With a line card of both best-of-breed and niche, up-and-coming manufacturers, Powertech Associates continues to introduce innovative products to its customers and support them with expert application knowledge. Our team serves investor-owned utilities, municipalities, and cooperatives across Connecticut, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, New York, Vermont, Maine, and New Hampshire.
