When a transformer comes down for service or replacement, the last thing a crew wants is oil on the ground, especially if it could contain PCBs. ABG BOB® transformer containment bags are built for exactly that. The transformer goes in the bag, the bag lifts as a sling, and the oil stays contained from the pole or pad to the yard. The lifting loops form one continuous sling with cross-webbing across the bottom, so the bag lifts the transformer it is holding. Slide the bag around the transformer on the pole or pad, lift it down, and the oil stays inside. Each bag has a QR code on the side that links to a short "How To Use BOB" video, and a document pouch with a return tag you can use to note the equipment and its condition.
ABG says the bags are UN rated and DOT, TSCA and EPA certified for oil-filled equipment that may contain PCBs. They are safety orange, rated 6X capacity, easy to store on a truck, and recyclable.
